In the past two blogposts I delivered quite a lot of good yet basic information about the St. Mary of Angels and Martyrs Basilica. In the last one, I specifically mentioned the beauty of the marble sculptures of the two angels in the nave of the church. Without adding much information regarding the church, I just would like to give you a hint of how perfect was the ability of the artist when he sculptured the hard marble to reveal the peaceful, soft beauty of the Angel holding the spout. St. Augustine said that only the artist can look at a piece of wood and see the work of art that it carries within itself, an art ready to be revealed.
Somehow, sometimes, a photographer can have the same gift....He or she can make visible the invisible.
I hope that with my romephotofuntours my clients will acquire some of that art.
