Angels & Demons is the very famous American mystery thriller film directed by Ron Howard, based on Dan Brown's novel. As we all know it is the sequel to the even more famous and much more discussed film The Da Vinci Code, also directed by Howard, in 2006. The plot of both movies deals with intrigue and murders happening in Rome and more precisely in the Vatican City, where holiness is opposed to evil, as the sequel's title clarifies. So, if you are a photographer coming to Rome, and you are interested in exploring this religious, moral, cultural human conflict, book a tour with Rome Photo Fun Tours, and I will guide you to discover the historic sites where the art of very famous artists and the imagination of men have left its signs on bridges, churches, fountains and crypts.

Together we will take an extraordinary journey in the eternal city to find out how Light and Darkness co-live side by side in the streets of Rome, more often than not held together by the Christian religion that tried to disempower evil by freezing it in incredibly beautiful statues, graves, and paintings.

The gargoyle, in the photo here below, is a typical example of all that. Here, projecting from the gutter of a building on via delle Conciliazione, the big road leading from Castel Sant'Angelo to Saint Peter's Church, the heart of Christianity, the creepy mythological animal acts as a spout to carry water of a wall.
